Change your lens, and you change your life.

I'm Lindsey Lorette. The mantra I've built my life on, get bitter or get better, didn't come from a book. I learned it in the hardest season of my life, after losing my dad to alcoholism. Gratitude became my north star. It saved me from my grief, one small realization at a time: even one thing to be grateful for is enough to keep going. I used to say, "I'm going to be sad in life sometimes, but if I can be sad on the beach, I have one thing to be grateful for." That's where it all began, and it's why I now teach what saved me. It became The Divine Gratitude Journal, then a course, a collective, and books. And in every room I walk into, I show people how to shift their perspective and rediscover who they truly are. Because it's our perspective that shapes our reality. Change your lens, and you change your life.

We've all lived through something that broke us a little. In life you get two choices: get bitter, or get better. I refuse to get bitter. Gratitude is what saved me, because if you have even one thing to be grateful for, you can keep going.

The path that brought me here.

  • Summa cum laude graduate. I earned my bachelor's in organizational leadership from Arizona State University, with a focus in project management.
  • Ten years in corporate leadership. The decade that taught me how people grow, how teams heal, and how much a shift in perspective changes everything.
  • Presenter on corporate stages. Executives invited me to present at an AT&T Authorized Retail leadership convention, teaching vision boards and finding your why. At Starbucks, I presented to leadership on love languages and how they show up in our work relationships, and I led my district's store managers through a vision board workshop, from what they are and why they work to crafting their own and naming their goals.
  • Community builder. I've planned and executed more than ten community events for local nonprofits.
  • Published author. The Divine Gratitude Journal has been on sale since September 2023, printed and shipped through Amazon.
  • Certified life coach. Certification completed and on file.
  • Founder of The Divine Gratitude Collective. A private community of women rising together, with the journal free inside.

Get bitter, or get better. Your choice starts here.
